Terms of Use

1. These terms

These terms apply to the AlgosWay tools website, including the prop firm calculator, the trade journal, My dashboard, the Pro and Edge Lab tools, the pricing page and these pages (together, the "site"). AlgosWay is operated from Arizona, United States ("AlgosWay", "we"). Contact: hello@algosway.com. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. No account

There is no AlgosWay account and no connection to any broker or trading account. A paid plan is unlocked in your browser with a license key (section 3). We may change, suspend or stop any part of the site at any time; if we stop a paid plan, section 3 says what happens to the period you paid for.

3. Plans, payments, renewal, cancellation and refunds

Payments are not enabled yet. Nothing can be bought on the site today. This section sets out the terms that will apply once they are; the seller will be named here and at checkout before any charge.

  • Free costs nothing and has these limits: 3 saved calculator runs, 1 journal account and 50 trades.
  • Pro and Edge Lab are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown on the pricing page when you buy: Pro USD 19 a month or USD 149 a year; Edge Lab USD 49 a month or USD 399 a year.
  • Seller. Plans are sold by a merchant of record, which takes the payment, charges any sales tax, sends the receipt and the license key, and runs the customer portal. Its own terms also apply to the purchase.
  • Before you pay, the checkout shows the price, the billing period, that the plan renews automatically, the trial length and the date of the first charge, and how to cancel. You are charged only after you agree to these at checkout.
  • Automatic renewal. A plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price then shown, until you cancel. A price change applies to a renewal only after we tell you about it by email before that renewal.
  • Trial. A trial lasts 7 days. You are not charged if you cancel before the first charge date shown when you start it. Before a trial converts, and before a yearly plan renews, a reminder is sent to the email address used at checkout.
  • Cancel online at any time through the "Manage subscription" link in the site footer and in your license email. No call or email is needed. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Refunds. Ask within 14 days of the first charge, or of a yearly renewal, and that charge is refunded in full. After that, a charge for the current period is not refunded, except where the law requires it. If we stop a paid plan before the end of a period you paid for, the unused part of that period is refunded.
  • License key. The key is for your own use. The site checks it only by sending the key to its own /api/license route (see the Privacy page).
  • What a plan gives you is access to calculation and record keeping tools. AlgosWay has no proven trading strategy and gives no trading advice. No plan includes signals, trade copying, bots, automation or managed accounts.

4. Not financial advice

AlgosWay is general purpose software provided for educational and informational purposes. It is not financial, investment, trading, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial product, evaluation or funded account. AlgosWay is not registered as an investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, broker or dealer with any regulator. You decide how you trade and what you buy.

5. Simulated results are hypothetical

The results of the calculator, the plan comparison, the hypothetical resampling and the backtest overfitting check are hypothetical simulations based only on the numbers and assumptions you enter. They are not predictions or guarantees that you will pass an evaluation, receive a payout or make a profit. Past or simulated results do not guarantee future results. Please read the Disclaimer, which includes the statement required for hypothetical performance results under CFTC Rule 4.41.

6. Firm rules and third party sites

Prop firm rules on the site are summarized from the firms' public pages on the date shown beside each rule, with a link to the source. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and firms can change their rules at any time. Always check the firm's own website and agreement before you buy anything. Links to other websites are for reference only. AlgosWay is not affiliated with or endorsed by any firm, and receives no commission or referral payment from any firm.

7. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for your trading decisions and their results, and for following the rules of any firm, broker or platform you use.
  • You are responsible for checking the numbers you enter and the results you rely on.
  • Your journal is stored only in your browser. Clearing your browser's site data, using a private window or changing device can delete it, and we cannot recover it. Keep your own backup files.
  • Use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting.

8. No warranty

THE SITE AND THE TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE, SECURE OR WITHOUT ERRORS, OR THAT ANY RESULT IS CORRECT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALGOSWAY AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, EVALUATION, RESET, ACTIVATION OR ACCOUNT FEES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ALGOSWAY IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT ALL APPLY TO YOU.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the site or these terms will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
